Digital Neighborhood Solidarity is a project born in 2022 within the walls of our web agency. Through an illustrated website, we provide one hour a month of our time for people between the ages of 18 and 65. Specifically, we provide services for:
Elderly, with difficulty using cell phones
unemployed, seeking employment opportunities
Young people, who want to start getting involved in the working world
The subject we chose as the symbol of this new project is a 70-year-old gentleman who is enjoying the peace of the moment, which is sunrise.
The idea ofdigital hand illustration stems from the intent to create a digital space and character design that express the concepts of tranquility and harmony.
In addition, the sun symbolically represents rebirth, which is possible through solidarity and mutual aid.
As for the color palette, we chose a very simple color palette consisting of:
Warm colors, such as light yellow, that convey a sense of lightness
Cool colors, such as blue sky or green lawn, which represent stability
Overall, a dynamic composition is created through the combination of the action line of the lawn joining the vertical line of the trees.
Finally, the centrally placed character immediately catches the eye: among the background colors, the brown of the jacket and pants stands out, creating a very strong visual impact.
