Goals

PMI Marketing is a promising start-up operating in the Digital Marketing sector with a completely innovative business model: offering services in micro-packages that can be purchased through e-commerce. The request for this project consisted of:

  1. Design a comprehensive brand identity for SME Marketing that would visually convey its “smart” and dynamic nature
  2. Communicating the corporate image under the concepts of: technological innovation, digital approach and service packaging
  3. Create a new logo that contained within it the idea of adaptability, dialogue and transformation

Designing a new corporate image for SME Marketing

The realization of the project for PMI Marketing’s logo consisted of 3 main phases, in which different specialist figures met internally and with the client to generate insights and share ideas. Specifically, we focused on:

  • Research and Analysis: in some initial brainstorming sessions, input was gathered on the key themes around which PMI Marketing’s corporate image was to revolve.
  • Graphic concept study: researching shapes and color palettes for the logo that could convey the desired messages.
  • Selection and development of pictogram and associated typography .

The graphic result of PMI Marketing’s logo consists of a series of juxtaposed geometric shapes that create a moving sequence. The choice of the square is meant to refer to the concept of “block” (or package) services, while the dynamic movement, also rendered by the gradient colors, evokes dynamism and transformation. Finally, the choice of the color green is related totechnological imagery while conveying a sense of stability.

Overall, the message evoked by this logo represents a young company with a fresh mindset, strongly oriented toward constant development but attentive and willing to dialogue and service toward the Customer.

Detailed study of the activity

Starting with a precise briefing from the Client, we analyzed PMI Marketing’s business, sales model, and services offered.

Defining company character and identity

After identifying the various aspects of PMI Marketing’s business, we selected the most distinctive elements from the perspective of corporate character and values.

Choosing the mood and logo

Once the key themes were collected, we moved on to elaborating the message graphically.

At this stage, the logo moodboard is chosen, which consists of the shapes and color palette that best represent the concepts to be conveyed.

Proposals for sketches and mock-ups

A number of versions of the logo are then made and submitted to the Client, who will choose the one that best resonates with the identity they wish to communicate

On that one the final details are applied and finishing touches are made for the final output.
